Our club, Single in The Villages, Inc. (SITV) is a registered with "The Villages Resident Lifestyle™" Program.

We are a private social club.  Our membership is restricted to Villages residents who are single (not married). Annual dues are currently $25 but can fluctuate slightly from year to year. Your membership includes access to our member-only website where you can register to attend many free or paid events, meet & make new friends, and use Paypal to pay for events with a ticket cost.  Paypal is our only method of payment.  You do not have to have a Paypal account to use it.

One of the largest clubs in The Villages, we continue to grow, spanning all the neighborhoods of The Villages from the far north to the new southern areas. The members range in age from ~54 to 84+ years old and everything in-between!  Members of SITV come to The Villages from all over the country and cover a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. Two things we all have in common, though, are that we are single and live in The Villages.

We create and participate in a wide variety of activities.  Examples of events include bowling, softball games, pickleball, golf, dance lessons, monthly theme parties, trivia game nights, movies, organized lunches and dinners out, theater, destination bus trips, golf cart parades, holiday celebrations, game nights, happy hours, barbecues, pool parties and more. We are vibrant, active, and quite busy.

Joining a new group can be intimidating. To aid our newest members with this transition, we have volunteer "greeters" at events. It is very comforting and reassuring to have someone approach you at a function and ease you into it. To further welcome and aid our new members in acclimating to our group, we host a monthly "Newcomer Orientation Meeting".  This allows new members to meet other 'newbies', as well as some of the more experienced ones, who can answer questions and explain more about the club.
